Day #16

f3.5  1/500  ISO 400

day 16 I wasn’t feeling inspired today. I should have, the leaves had changed colour, the sun had been shining; and the parks were full of people. I was more interested in getting food after a long meeting than  recording things around me.

It was getting late in the afternoon when I happened upon this scene:  four brightly coloured Adirondack-style wooden chairs (only three of which are shown here) chained and padlocked together and arranged in a row on the campus of a local university.

It may be an unoriginal photo, but I like this photo because the chairs while identical in style are made different with individual colours, making them stand out from the rest of their surroundings.  I am a fan of repetition and lines when photographing buildings, landscapes, or objects. This photo has those elements with the horizontal lines from the coloured wooden armrests receding from the foreground into the background
